OVERVIEW

Mari Vanna is a lovely Russian restaurant located in Manhattan's Flatiron district. It’s walls are adorned with old photographs, chandeliers hang from the ceiling, and the mood is set with dim candlelight and Russian music. Mari Vanna’s current website fails to communicate the warm charm the restaurant is known for. We simplified the user experience of the site and made it easier to navigate and understand. 

DESIGN

The team consisted of 4 designers and 4 developers working together to execute a responsive website.

We created a stylescape to help steer the visual language for the project and to better clarify the visual identity of Mari Vanna.

HANDOFF

In order to share our creative vision with the development team we created an InVision prototype. Once the design was finalized we used Zeplin to hand off the files to the developers. Clearly communicating to developers the design details of the project was key so we conducted stand-ups to discuss any roadblocks and ideate solutions.
